For immediate release

North Bay, Ontario Today, the Board of Directors of the Transport EnRoute Consortium is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Arnaud Claude as Executive Director of the consortium.

The Transport EnRoute Consortium is comprised of four school boards in our region: the Conseil scolaire catholique des Grandes Rivières (CSCDGR), the Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est (CSPNE), the District School Board Ontario North East (DSB1), and the Northeastern Catholic District School Board (NCDSB). On behalf of these four boards, the Transport EnRoute Consortium proudly welcomes Mr. Claude to his new role, where he will oversee the safe and efficient management of its operations.

Fully bilingual, Mr. Claude brings extensive experience in management, strategic project coordination, and supporting leadership within various community organizations. He has notably served in the role of Executive Director of the organisation Les Compagnons des francs loisirs in North Bay, where he supervised the operations and contributed to the governance of the organisation. Mr. Claude also served as an Administrative Assistant to Superintendents at the Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord. The Board of Directors of the Transport EnRoute Consortium, along with CSCDGR, CSPNE, DSB1, and NCDSB, are therefore pleased to entrust him with the responsibilities of this new role, confident in his strong understanding of the education sector and his expert knowledge of governance functions.

Mr. Claude stated: “Students and families are at the heart and soul of our school communities. It is both an honour and a joy for me to contribute in a meaningful way to an essential service that meets their needs. My top priority will always be student safety, closely followed by the efficiency and reliability of the services provided. I look forward to beginning this new journey in partnership with the four consortium boards, transportation providers, and the communities, and I would also like to express my deep gratitude to Les Compagnons des francs loisirs for their role in my professional journey.”

Mr. Claude will officially begin his duties on May 11, 2026. The Directors of Education of the four boards—Lesleigh Dye (DSB1), Natalie Joncas-Raymond (CSPNE), Jérémie Lepage (CSCDGR), and Tricia Weltz (NCDSB)—extend their congratulations and a warm welcome to Mr. Claude: the Transport EnRoute Consortium is in excellent hands.
