A few weeks ago, students from the robotics team at École secondaire publique Odyssée once again brought pride to their school at the provincial First Lego League (FLL) tournament held in Oshawa. For the fourth consecutive year, the Phoenix secured a place among the province’s top teams, proudly demonstrating their creativity, rigor, and innovative spirit. Competing against more than 40 participating teams, Odyssée’s team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 15th in the provincial rankings.
This participation in the provincial tournament followed an exceptional performance at the regional competition, where two of the school’s teams received distinctions. One team earned 2nd place and achieved the highest robotics challenge score with an impressive total of 335 points, allowing them to qualify for the provincial stage.
These results reflect the strength and consistency of Odyssée’s robotics program, which continues to provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop skills in innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving.
