North Bay, Ontario – The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario announces that Mr. Roch Mageau will be retiring as principal of École secondaire publique Renaissance at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
Since 2018, Mr. Mageau has held administrative roles within the Conseil, first as vice-principal at Renaissance, then as principal of École secondaire publique l’Alliance in Iroquois Falls, and finally as principal of École secondaire publique Renaissance. His leadership and dedication to student success have left a lasting impact on the CSPNE and the school communities he has served.
The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Mageau for his commitment to French-language public education and wishes him much success in his future endeavors.
The principal position at École secondaire publique Renaissance in Timmins will be posted soon to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for students, parents, and the school community at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
