The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) is pleased to share that during its meeting on February 27, school trustees approved the school calendars for the 2025-2026 school year.
Developed in collaboration with neighboring school boards in the CSPNE’s Northern region (CSCDGR, DSBONE, and NCDSB), this calendar establishes key dates for schools in the communities of Hearst, Kapuskasing, Iroquois Falls, Timmins, and New Liskeard.
Highlights of the 2025-2026 school calendar:
- First day of school: September 2, 2025
- Holiday break: December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026
- High school exams – Semester 1: January 26 to 29, 2026
- March break: March 16 to 20, 2026
- High school exams – Semester 2: June 18 to 25, 2026
- Last day of school: June 25, 2026

- November 24, 2025
- January 30, 2026
- April 17, 2026
- June 12, 2026
