North Bay, Ontario – The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Suzanne Hevey as Vice-Principal of École publique Héritage in North Bay, effective August 2025. She will succeed Ms. Natasha Lessard, who will be stepping into the role of Principal at Héritage.
With over 25 years of experience in education, Ms. Hevey has taken on a variety of key roles within the Board, including classroom teacher, resource teacher, numeracy lead, and technology integration facilitator. She has been serving as Principal at École secondaire publique Nipissing Ouest since 2022.
Motivated by a desire to contribute to a dynamic and welcoming environment, Ms. Hevey approaches this new opportunity with enthusiasm. This transition represents an important step in her professional journey, allowing her to continue developing her skills and to apply her experience across various levels of the school system. She looks forward to working closely with staff, families, and the broader school community to support a positive and motivating learning environment for elementary students.
