The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE) is very excited to celebrate Pride Month 2022.

Activities are being organized in CSPNE schools to celebrate differences and to encourage tolerance, caring and well-being for all members of the school and broader community.

As an inclusive, visionary, authentic and committed school board, it is important to prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion.  In fact, all CSPNE facilities - including schools - will fly the rainbow flag to proudly demonstrate its participation in the universal movement of respect and love of difference.  In addition, all activities suggested by the CSPNE education team are linked to the Health and Physical Education curriculum as required by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

CSPNE is an ally of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and is committed to ensuring that our schools and administrative offices are safe and healthy environments where there is a place for everyone and success is available to all.  Happy Pride month!

In accordance with universal values, the CSPNE covers an area of 46,453 km2 and provides the communities of Hearst, Kapuskasing, Iroquois Falls, Timmins, Temiskaming Shores, Sturgeon Falls, North Bay and Parry Sound with quality French-language education. Close to 2,100 northeastern Ontario students have chosen French-language public schools.
