New French-Language School in Parry Sound
Northern Ontario – The community of Parry Sound and its surrounding areas are invited to an information session to be held next Thursday, February 21, regarding the new elementary public school École élémentaire de la région de Parry Sound. The new French-language public school is scheduled to open in September 2019.
The purpose of this bilingual session is to introduce the Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario, to define the French school’s mandate, clarify who can access French-language education in Ontario, outline the preliminary educational and academic programs, inform parents on the next steps to take to enroll their children, and announce the opening of our new school in September 2019.

Place: Canadore College, 1 College Drive, Parry Sound
In accordance with universal values, the CSPNE covers an area of 46,453 km2 and provides the communities of Timmins, Iroquois Falls, Kapuskasing, Hearst, Temiskaming Shores, Sturgeon Falls, and North Bay with quality French-language education. Close to 2,200 northeastern Ontario students have chosen French-language public schools.
