New Principal appointed to lead École élémentaire publique de la région de Parry Sound

Parry Sound – The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) is pleased to announce that Mrs. Joanne Héroux Farrow has accepted the position of Principal for the new École élémentaire publique de la région de Parry Sound effective August 1st, 2019.

Mrs. Héroux Farrow joined our educational team back in August 2018 as interim Service Director and has been actively participating in the project concerning the implementation of a French-language public school for the region of Parry Sound. Strongly involved in the education sector for over 25 years, Mrs. Héroux Farrow has much to contribute in all areas of school life at this new CSPNE school. Her leadership skills, her overall vision of French-language education in a minority setting, and her knowledge of Parry Sound and surrounding communities are additional assets for the School Board.

The school’s Principal, Mrs. Héroux Farrow confirms having many of the qualities sought by CSPNE. “I am organized, motivated, creative, diligent and independent. I truly have the students’ welfare and success at heart. “

In accordance with universal values, the CSPNE covers an area of 46,453 km2 and provides the communities of Timmins, Iroquois Falls, Kapuskasing, Hearst, Temiskaming Shores, Sturgeon Falls, and North Bay with quality French-language education. Close to 2,200 northeastern Ontario students have chosen French-language public schools.
