North Bay, Ontario – The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Isabelle Boucher as Superintendent of Education.

A member of the CSPNE team for more than 15 years, Ms. Boucher has held various positions within the Board, beginning her career as a teacher before becoming Principal of École publique Passeport Jeunesse in 2014. For more than 11 years, she has passionately supported students, staff, and families within her school community while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Recognized for her collaborative leadership, people-centered approach, and strategic vision, Ms. Boucher has distinguished herself through her ability to unite teams around common goals and implement initiatives that respond to the needs of her school community. “Ms. Isabelle Boucher’s appointment as Superintendent of Education is a valuable asset for our Board. I am confident that she will make a significant contribution to advancing our strategic priorities. Her inclusive leadership, thoughtful approach to the challenges facing the education sector, and ability to bring teams together will be invaluable in supporting our schools and communities,” said Natalie Joncas-Raymond, Director of Education of CSPNE.

Ms. Boucher will assume the position of Superintendent of Education on August 17, 2026, following the retirement of Mr. Michel Pagé, Superintendent of Education. CSPNE wishes to acknowledge Mr. Pagé’s valuable contributions throughout the many years he dedicated to French-language public education. We extend our sincere thanks and best wishes for a well-deserved retirement.

CSPNE is pleased to be able to count on Ms. Boucher’s expertise, commitment, and vision in her new role and wishes her every success in this next chapter of her professional journey.
