Prix de contribution exceptionnelle

For Immediate Release

Northeastern Ontario - It was with great gratitude that the Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE) proceeded again this year with the presentation of recognition awards highlighting the outstanding contributions of its staff members.

This initiative, launched by the school board trustees, is designed to highlight the commitment, collaboration and excellence of school and CSPNE team members.  It's a great annual opportunity to recognize the achievements of certain staff members who actively contribute to achieving the CSPNE's objectives. The components and selection criteria of the recognition program reflect in concrete terms the importance of the axes and results targeted in the 2022-2027 strategic plan.

Earlier this year, the school board employees received a formal invitation to nominate colleagues who - in their opinion - deserved to be recognized for their involvement, dedication and contribution to student success and well-being.  A selection committee reviewed the nominations received according to the components and criteria and selected 9 recipients from across the CSPNE territory.

The 2024 recipients

École publique Passeport Jeunesse, Hearst
Anik Rodrigue, Special Education Worker
Isabelle Boucher, Principal

École secondaire publique Renaissance, Timmins

Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario
Line Deschamps, Pedagogical Advisor

Celebrations were held in the recipients' school communities to recognize their outstanding contributions.  Our thanks to Le Centre Franco for its financial contribution to the local festivities, as this Franco-Ontarian organization celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

In closing, the Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario would like to congratulate the 9 recipients of the 2024 Outstanding Contribution Award.  Furthermore, the CSPNE considers itself very privileged to be able to count on such a dedicated and caring team who contribute daily - in their own way - to the success and well-being of every student and staff member.
