Thursday, October 27, 2016 – Conseil scolaire Viamonde, Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario, Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario and Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario are launching a common entity which encompasses their respective strengths and accomplishments as well as the top-quality education offered in all of their schools.

More and more families across Ontario are choosing to send their children to nondenominational French-language schools.  Year after year, enrolment has increased consistently in these four school boards.  Parents realize there are academic, cultural and social advantages in these schools and have discovered that they provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

More inclusive

Schools are welcoming and respect religious and cultural diversity.

More modern

Innovation in technology and education ensures that students are well-prepared for the world of tomorrow.

More spirited

The network of schools draws its strength from the dedication of its staff and the commitment of its students.

The four school boards are forming a provincial network which includes more than 120 French-language elementary and secondary schools solidly established in every region across Ontario.

From Toronto to Hearst, from Ottawa to Sudbury, from Windsor to Longlac or from Kingston to North Bay, our system has so much more to offer!
