North Bay, Ontario – The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jean-François Sylvestre as Principal of École publique Passeport Jeunesse.
A member of the CSPNE team for more than ten years, Mr. Sylvestre currently serves as Vice-Principal at École publique Passeport Jeunesse, where he supports students, staff members, and families with dedication and compassion. Throughout his career with the Board, he has held various roles in teaching and educational leadership, and also served with the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) as a Mathematics Education Officer.
Mr. Sylvestre holds a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa with a specialization in leadership, evaluation, educational programs, and policy. He is recognized for his collaborative approach, his commitment to student success, and his ability to bring teams together around shared goals. His ongoing involvement in the community, particularly in the sports sector, further reflects his strong commitment to youth and their development.
